Diversity
For more than 90 years, the leadership and employees at CenterLight Health System (of which Beth Abraham Health Services is a member) have embraced diversity -- one of our core values that has been woven into every aspect of our healthcare organization.
In fact, we celebrate the differences found in the population we care for by providing them with services, programs and even the different cuisines that represent their cultural backgrounds. And to build on that, we continue to hire staff that currently speaks more than 75 languages and dialects to ensure that we are communicating clearly and fully with the ethnically diverse population we serve.
The CenterLight Health System family is committed to providing compassionate, high quality and person-directed care, and to embracing and celebrating the rich dimensions of diversity contained within each individual.
Integrity is always doing the right thing with honesty, trust, respect and confidentiality.
Caring is nurturing the spirit of another with sincere compassion, a sense of pride and commitment.
Diversity is embracing our many cultures and programs as we work together toward common goals.
Creativity is the ability to present new ideas and concepts from a unique perspective utilizing all available resources.
CenterLight Health System Chief Human Resources Officer Peter Fragale published a column about "10 Ways to Diversify Your Workforce" in Diversity Executive magazine. Fragale talks about the importance of hiring and promoting employees whose cultural backgrounds represent those they serve. He also gives ten steps that other organizations can follow.
